This collection contains mostly correspondence (1852-1885) both personal and college business, much having to do with financial issues, college events, teaching positions, local area issues, students, land and property; also sermons, diaries, speeches, biographical data, administrative files, photographs. Academic Senate records

This collection is comprised of Faculty and Academic Senate meeting minutes and agendas, as well as supporting documentation for the meetings including correspondence and notes. From 1849-1970, the group in charge of directing the educational program at the college recorded their meetings simply as "Faculty Minutes," though the group consisted of students and administrators as well as faculty. In 1970, they changed their name to Academic Senate.
