Biographical / Historical
These records were created by the Academic Policy Committee (APC), which primarily oversaw course offerings and the course catalog. The committee usually had just over ten members and consisted of two student representatives, the deans of the college, the Registrar, and a number of professors. While there is overlap between the duties of Academic Policy Committee and Academic Senate, they are separate governing bodies. This committee was dissolved in 2009 to form the Curriculum Oversight and Administrative Committee (COA) and the Academic Strategic Planning Committee (ASP).

Arrangement
This collection has been compiled over the years through separate accessions of various sizes from various offices and individuals, none of which has any accompanying documentation. The original order of the documents is unknown. The arrangement order presented here has been imposed by the College Archives staff.
As the Academic Policy Committee no longer exists, it will not create more materials. Further accruals may be expected from the Office of the Provost and Dean of the College.
