Abstract
Carey Croneis was Beloit College's fifth president, and served from 1944-1954. There is a relatively small amount of presidential correspondence primarily from 1946-1950. Subject matter ranges from financial development to issues involving specific students. Abstract
Ivan McKinley Stone was first hired at Beloit College in 1930 as a professor of Government. He served Dean of the College from 1951-1964, after which he became the first director of the World Affairs Center until his retirement in 1970. The vast majority of this collection is comprised of copies of correspondence and meeting minutes given to or written by Ivan Stone in his capacity as Dean of the College.
