This collection contains documents affiliated with Asian Studies at Beloit College, including departmental literature describing the program, minor, courses, and faculty; brochures and correspondence regarding various exchange and language programs, and a small selection of student work. Professors John Rapp and Terence Bigalke both have correspondence and other materials in the collection.

Biographical / Historical

The Asian studies program at Beloit College is firmly rooted in the college’s existing resources and traditions, from its alumni who served as missionaries to the Orient at the turn of the 20th century to its museum collection, course offerings, and language and exchange programs.
