Biographical / Historical

The 1906-1907 directory lists students by class, faculty, and college administration, as well as other things that might be found in the Beloit College Catalogue, such as the academic calendar, administration office hours, Board of Trustees, and committees. This is an official publication from the college Register (Beloit College Bulletin Vol. IV No. VI).

The following academic year, 1907-1908, the publication is the same except it is re-titled Directory.

Starting in 1930 and continuing through 1956, the directory changed formats to a less formal listing of students, faculty, staff, their addresses and phone numbers, and a summary of student demographics. 1957 brought back a formal printed cover to the directory, and in 1966, the students got their own directory. The student directory was briefly titled "Who's Who" in 1977, and in 1978 it changed again to "Who's Where?".
