Mother's Day - Correspondence, Event Programs, Invitations, 1936-1953
Scope and Contents
These records include materials relating to campus parent events like Dad's Day, Mother's Day, Parents' Weekend, and Family Weekend, and consist of programs, invitations, and correspondence. Much of these came from the Development Office and Alumni Affairs. There is a small group of materials originating from the Parents Committee, the Parents Council, and the Parents Association, and a collection of Parents Handbooks from the 1980s-2000s, created by the office of the Dean of Students. These handbooks contain lots of practical information for parents such as contact information for Beloit College staff and frequently asked questions and concerns relating to academics and student life.
