Phi Beta Kappa: History--both books, 1900-1926
Scope and Contents
This collections contains detailed records on the founding of Phi Beta Kappa at Beloit College. With numerous minute-books and records of meetings throughout the years, the collection encompasses a wide range of history while staying very thorough. Also included are financial records, personal information on initiates, bylaw and other system and procedure pamphlets, a thorough list on visiting scholars and correspondences from various members (notable college figures including John Pitt Deane, Eaton, G.K. Richardson, Ralph Waldo Emerson. Secretary’s materials are also in this collection with detailed minutes.
