Biographical / Historical

Beloit College gained national attention through its innovative year-round educational program that emphasized study abroad and a term of "field work" or community service. It was introduced in 1964, and the last class to participate all four years was the class of 1978. Today's curriculum continues to emphasize international studies, experiential approaches, and interdisciplinary learning.
